My improv team, IT GIRL, is performing at Crashbar this Sunday. It’s a very fun indie show, and we’re excited to be in the line-up!
I have been named Co-Editor in Chief of the Southern California Review, USC’s premier graduate literary journal. I am honored to be heading up such a reputable publication, and can’t wait to start digging through America’s best new writing.
I am beyond pleased to announce that I am now a member of Theatre of NOTE. I’ve been a fan for years, and am very excited to be joining their ranks. In fact, I’m doing two staged readings with them this week. Can’t wait to be on that stage with their incredible cadre of actors.
My improv team, It Girl, has two shows booked in March: Mystic Mondays at IO West on Monday, March 11 and Jackpot Improv at The Underground on Saturday, March 16. Like us on Facebook, and we’ll love you forever.

I’ll be reading from my current non-fiction work-in-progress at The Last Bookstore as part of USC’s Master of Professional Writing reading series. The reading takes place on Friday, Nov. 30 at 7:30pm. I’ll be read from an essay about the resonance of California upon my family.
